RESOURCE INDEX

Working with our client, a commodity index provider, we built a rapid prototype of a commodity index, allowing them to get their product to market in weeks instead of months.

Innercube

Funded by Innovate UK, the UK's innovation agency, we built a tool that helps therapists engage their clients online by inserting a cartoon character into the video conference. The character drives engagement with the child by using advanced AI models to respond to words, expressions and tone.

DATA VIEW

We built a tool that allowed an ed-tech company to use real-time data to determine which content engaged customers and drove customer retention.

About Us

Dave Dale

Before founding the Efficient Data Group, Dave Dale PhD, managed an award winning data science team at News UK. Previously he ran a data science team at Winton Capital, which was then Europe’s largest Hedge Fund. Prior to that he was a consultant at QuantumBlack (now a McKinsey company), and an engineer and applied researcher at Microsoft. In the increasingly distant past, he was a postdoctoral researcher and college lecturer at Oxford University.
